A reception was held before the show where RSC President Jeanie Webb recognized RSC regents, managers of the Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall, and David Hudiburg, president of Hudiburg Auto Group, among others who contributed to the facility’s renaming.
“We’re very proud to be here tonight and to be partnered with Rose State,” Hudiburg said.
The HCC was previously the Performing Arts Theatre. The renaming stemmed from a standing relationship between the college and Hudiburg Auto Group. Hudiburg Auto Group retains the rights to the name for the next 10 years.
“David Hudiburg gives to the community,” Webb said.
“An Evening with Martina McBride” was one stop on the “Everlasting Tour.”
McBride’s set list included hits such as “Blessed,” “Wild Angels” and “Independence Day.” She also preformed songs by some of her favorite artists, including “Perfect” by P!nk.
