The name of the RSC Performing Arts Theatre has been changed to the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center, due to a partnership between the college and the Hudiburg Auto Group.

President Jeanie Webb said RSC and Hudiburg have had “such a good relationship over the years.”

Hudiburg obtained naming rights of the former Performing Arts Theatre through providing a sponsorship for RSC.

“It shows that we work with our community partners,” Webb said. “We’re proud to have them as partners.”

Funds from the sponsorship are being used solely for upgrades in the building, Webb said. Furniture, paint, flooring and signage, including the digital message board visible from the highway, will be upgraded.

The first performance in the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center will be “An Evening with Martina McBride” on Feb. 10. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Civic Center Music Hall box office at 405-297-2264, or visiting okcciviccenter.com.
