The Java Rose Café was relocated to the cafeteria, on Aug. 18. The area that previously housed the café will be converted into an overflow seating space for students, said Richard Andrews, director of operational efficiency.

The purpose of the move is so that when other areas, such as the main dining room and Raider Room, are occupied by other groups students will have somewhere to sit, eat and socialize, Andrews said.

There will be no reductions in the service customers are offered, and the Java Rose Café menu is still available, Andrews said.

The change will be a more streamlined and efficient way of service, allowing all customers’ food-and beverage-related needs to be filled, Andrews said.

The relocated Java Rose Café is open in the cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
