The President’s Leadership Class of RSC held a car show in the campus parking lot on Oct. 26 to raise money for Little Light Christian School.
Sixteen cars, trucks and a bike entered the car show to compete for first-10th place, and the “In Car Entertainment” Award.

Little Light Christian School representative Robin Khoury informs the crowd on the mission of Little Light.
The ICE award was presented to the owner of a 1960s Camaro that has a built-in cassette player.
The award for first place was presented to Dan Pruett. Pruett’s car is dedicated to his late granddaughter who died of cancer on her fourth birthday, four years ago this December. Pruett’s car is detailed with her name and the number 22 to represent her birthday and day of passing. There is also a poem on the truck dedicated to her and Pruett’s niece who also passed away due to cancer.
All proceeds from the car show are given to Little Light Christian School. Robin Khoury, representative of Little Light, describes the school as a place for children whose parents are or were in prison. Little Light is a safe place for these children and a place they feel at home.
The PLC donated nearly $400 to Little Light as a result of the car show.
