Founded in 1986, the society is a community group made of volunteers who sing at annual events and has been using RSC for practice since their beginning.
MSC performs the annual Christmas concert at Wickline United Methodist Church, 417 Mid America Blvd, and many other events around the Midwest City area.
The society’s next performance will be 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25 at the Autumn House, 500 Adair Blvd, and will hold their annual Christmas concert at Wickline, Tuesday, Dec. 14, where they will perform selections from George Handel’s “Messiah.”
The choral society is open to anyone who enjoys singing. Dues are $35 a year for each participant.
“[MCS] is always looking for people who used to sign in school and church,” Wallace said. “We’re always looking for people interested in singing and in making good music with good people.”
